HVAC Team Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of HVAC technicians to maintain base HVAC and building automation systems
• Perform field duties and technical repairs in addition to supervisory responsibilities
• Manage scheduling, execution, and reporting for all maintenance and repairs
• Assign daily tasks and work orders to ensure timely contract compliance
• Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets satisfactory standards
• Develop SOPs and assist with document control for field and tool implementation
• Prepare estimates for man-hours, materials, and inventory replacement
• Document all work within the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
• Ensure all team members adhere to company safety and health requirements

Requirements

• Journeyman HVAC license
• Universal CFC certification
• Minimum of 3 years of experience managing a team of HVAC technicians
• Top Secret clearance with polygraph or the ability to obtain one
• Extensive knowledge of International Mechanical Code requirements
• Ability to read blueprints, manuals, and construction drawings
• Experience working with voltages up to 480 V
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
• Strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal communication skills
