About the role
Responsibilities
- Prepare and check HVAC designs using 3D modeling and 2D CADD automation tools
- Design 3D models of HVAC equipment and ductwork and develop 2D duct plans
- Coordinate technical issues with other disciplines, project management, vendors, and clients
Requirements
- High School Diploma and 10+ years of HVAC system design experience
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a government clearance
- Proficiency in 3D modeling and 2D CAD automation tools for HVAC systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree in a related technical field
- Experience with ASME NQA-1 requirements for nuclear facilities
- Advanced proficiency in Intergraph Smart3D (S3D) software
