HVAC Site Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, calculate, and specify HVAC systems in compliance with project requirements and industry standards
• Collaborate with architects, mechanical engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate HVAC systems into building designs
• Prepare detailed HVAC layouts, schematics, and technical documentation using BIM and CAD software
• Conduct site inspections and supervise the installation and commissioning of HVAC equipment
• Perform troubleshooting, testing, and maintenance activities to ensure system performance and reliability
• Ensure HVAC systems comply with relevant codes, standards, and environmental regulations
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and consultants to resolve technical issues and optimize system performance

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in HVAC engineering, preferably within the UAE construction industry
• Proficiency in HVAC design software including AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and HAP
• Sound knowledge of HVAC systems, design principles, and industry standards such as ASHRAE and SMACNA
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment
• Familiarity with UAE building codes and regulations
• Fluency in English
