HVAC Shop Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, inspection, and basic testing of rental equipment under supervision
• Prepare applied and portable cooling equipment for customer deployment
• Perform condenser coil cleaning, general equipment cleaning, and tube maintenance on water-cooled chillers
• Assist with depot organization, housekeeping, yard management, and inventory tracking
• Support equipment staging and assist with loading and unloading as needed
• Follow safety protocols, complete maintenance documentation, and maintain tools in working order
• Communicate equipment concerns or repair needs to supervisor

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to the assigned depot
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn HVAC rental equipment
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds and frequently lift up to 75 pounds
• Ability to climb, crawl, stoop, kneel, and work in tight spaces
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in warehouse/depot environments with varying temperatures
