HVAC Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Manage projects and processes while working independently with limited supervision
• Start-up, commission, and support BMS on represented equipment
• Perform factory start-up, commissioning, and warranty service on Data Center equipment
• Conduct electrical and mechanical inspections to ensure peak performance
• Interpret engineering drawings regarding system layout and operation
• Coach and review the work of lower-level professionals
• Suggest additional beneficial services to customers
• Maintain safety standards and submit required paperwork timely

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience as a Service Technician in a commercial environment
• Current HVAC certification and OSHA 10 Training
• Vertiv trained or certified
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and handheld computers (Smartphone, iPad)
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and 75 pounds frequently
• Ability to travel substantially within the operational region

Preferred Qualifications

• EPA Certification
• HVAC Journeyman or Master license
• Strong electrical knowledge
