HVAC Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Maintain cooling systems by diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, or installing and replacing components
• Conduct performance checks and regular maintenance on HVAC equipment
• Perform maintenance or upgrades to out-of-season HVAC equipment
• Respond to service calls in a timely manner, including emergency call outs
• Complete daily work reports accurately and timely
• Operate and maintain a motor vehicle safely and legally

Requirements

• Level 2 or Universal EPA Certification (Required)
• 3+ years of HVAC maintenance experience (commercial preferred)
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and via email
• Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical
• Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds
• Willingness to travel extensively and work outdoors in ambient temperatures
• Availability for occasional after-hours and weekend call outs

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components
• Experience with refrigeration systems
