HVAC Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot performance issues with heat pumps and related HVAC systems
• Conduct on-site walkthroughs of complex or high-priority installations
• Provide technical assessments and feedback to installation teams and engineering staff
• Verify system functionality, airflow, and refrigerant performance
• Document findings in field reports and maintain accurate service documentation
• Support training efforts by identifying recurring installation challenges
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure jobs are completed safely and to spec

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as an HVAC or heat pump service technician
• In-depth knowledge of heat pump systems, controls, and commissioning
• EPA certification (Type II or Universal)
• Valid driver's license
• Knowledge of OSHA Electrical and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) standards
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
