HVAC Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform service calls to troubleshoot and repair HVAC units
• Conduct regular preventative maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance
• Read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and blueprints related to HVAC systems
• Inform customers about system performance, recommend solutions, and provide quotes for repairs and maintenance
• Maintain accurate records of service and repairs performed
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and local regulations
• Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an HVAC training program or equivalent work experience
• Valid HVAC certification or license
• 2+ years of experience in HVAC service and repair
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including refrigeration, air conditioning, and heating
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
• Good communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
