HVAC Service Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance for mechanical systems including HVAC/R, boilers, chillers, and plumbing
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and implement corrective actions to reduce unplanned downtime
• Manage work orders, PM completion, and asset data within the CMMS
• Supervise, train, and schedule mechanical maintenance technicians and contractors
• Ensure compliance with EHS standards, OSHA requirements, and lockout/tagout procedures
• Coordinate with vendors for specialized mechanical services and project work
• Monitor system performance through building management systems and equipment inspections

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• EPA Section 608 Universal Certification
• Hands-on experience with HVAC/R, boilers, chillers, and related mechanical systems
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and P&IDs
• Knowledge of OSHA, lockout/tagout, and confined space safety practices
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various environments including rooftops and mechanical rooms

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical school certification or associate degree in electrical technology
• Texas ACR Technician Registration or Contractor License
• 5+ years of industrial/commercial mechanical experience
• 2+ years of supervisory experience
• Experience in 24/7 manufacturing or warehouse environments
• Proficiency with building management systems (BMS) or CMMS
