HVAC Repair Technician

Responsibilities

• Maintaining heavy commercial rooftop units (RTU's), chillers, large air handlers, large DX split systems, and boilers
• Diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, or installing and replacing components of entire systems
• Conducting performance checks and regular maintenance on commercial rooftop units up to 50 tons, chillers up to 150 tons, large air handlers, and boilers
• Performing maintenance or upgrades to out-of-season HVAC equipment
• Responding to service calls in a timely manner, including emergency call out services
• Completing daily work reports accurately and timely
• Operating and maintaining a motor vehicle safely

Requirements

• Level 2 or Universal EPA Certification
• 3+ years of experience with HVAC maintenance (commercial preferred)
• Basic knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components including refrigeration systems
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and via email
• Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds
• Ability to comply with OSHA, FCC, FAA, and EPA standards
