HVAC Purchase Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement policies and identify reliable suppliers
• Build and maintain strong relationships with HVAC vendors
• Forecast material and equipment requirements for current and future projects
• Negotiate contracts to secure favorable pricing and terms for materials and services
• Manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock while minimizing waste and costs
• Verify that all purchased items meet technical specifications and quality standards
• Monitor procurement expenses and implement cost-saving measures to adhere to budgets
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure timely delivery of materials
• Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, delivery, and cost-effectiveness
• Maintain accurate procurement records and prepare regular reports for stakeholders

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional work experience in procurement or purchasing
• Proven expertise in strategic sourcing and vendor management
• Strong experience in contract negotiation and budget management
• Proficiency in inventory management and forecasting
• Deep understanding of HVAC materials, equipment, and industry standards
