HVAC Purchase Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement policies and identify reliable suppliers
• Build and maintain strong relationships with HVAC vendors
• Forecast material and equipment requirements for current and future projects
• Negotiate contracts to secure favorable pricing and terms
• Manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock while minimizing waste
• Verify that all purchased items meet quality standards and technical specifications
• Monitor procurement costs and implement cost-saving measures to stay within budget
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure timely material delivery
• Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, delivery, and cost
• Maintain accurate procurement records and prepare regular reports for stakeholders

Requirements

• 1-3 years of professional work experience in procurement or purchasing
• Proven experience in strategic sourcing and vendor management
• Strong skills in contract negotiation and budget management
• Experience with inventory management and forecasting
• Knowledge of HVAC materials, equipment, and industry standards
