HVAC Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Provide construction oversight to ensure all work is completed safely and without impacting manufacturing processes
• Manage construction processes, including budgeting, scheduling, and logistics, within the operations team
• Read and interpret plans and specifications for all phases of construction
• Generate project schedules using professional software and monitor project backlogs
• Monitor and analyze job costs against budgets and review subcontractor/vendor quotes for accuracy
• Ensure all projects meet department specifications for quality and are completed on or ahead of schedule
• Monitor daily reporting of job progress and challenges to ensure compliance with safety policies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in facilities, mechanical systems, or chemical systems design and construction
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience with the design, organization, implementation, and management of construction and engineering projects

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional Engineering (PE) License
• Experience with HVAC/Exhaust systems
• Experience with Ultra-Pure Wastewater or Industrial Wastewater systems
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project or Primavera
• Experience with Civil, Structural, or Architectural construction
• Experience managing federally funded contracts within a commercial organization
