HVAC Lead Installer

Responsibilities

• Complete full heat pump system installs from start to finish
• Execute refrigerant recovery, system evacuation, and proper charging
• Read and work from blueprints and wiring diagrams
• Ensure compliance with local building codes
• Guide and support less experienced installers on the crew
• Maintain high quality standards and troubleshoot issues
• Deliver standout customer experiences and communicate with homeowners
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve processes

Requirements

• Extensive residential HVAC installation experience
• Proven experience leading an install crew
• Experience training or mentoring junior technicians
• EPA Section 608 Certification
• Ability to read blueprints and wiring schematics
• Knowledge of local building codes and compliance
• Solid refrigerant handling skills
• Physical stamina for heavy equipment and varied environments
• Knowledge of OSHA Electrical and Lockout/Tagout standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with heat pumps or mini-splits
