HVAC Installation Technician

Responsibilities

• Install HVAC equipment according to plans, drawings, and codes
• Perform measurements for sheet metal projects and design applications
• Install copper, PVC, and refrigerant piping using proper practices
• Join pipes using screws, bolts, fittings, solder, plastic solvent, and caulk joints
• Coordinate material requirements and order materials for jobs
• Liaison with project managers regarding job status and completion
• Complete administrative paperwork accurately and timely
• Maintain equipment and supplies while promoting workplace safety

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of HVAC experience (commercial preferred)
• CFC License
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record
• Ability to work an on-call rotation
• Ability to pass pre-employment substance screening and background check
• Physical ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and lift up to 50 pounds

Preferred Qualifications

• Vocational or Associate Degree in mechanical systems, electronics, or a similar field
