HVAC Installation Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform installation of all applied equipment with limited supervision
• Assist with depot maintenance, testing, cleaning, and inventory
• Troubleshoot low suction and high discharge pressure diagnostics
• Install and commission cooling towers
• Perform refrigerant leak checks and condenser coil cleaning
• Complete log sheets for all installed equipment
• Perform tube maintenance on water-cooled chillers
• Navigate chiller control panels to collect data

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
• Current HVAC certification and OSHA 10 Training
• 1 to 5 years of experience in chiller/HVAC maintenance or mechanical engineering
• Electrical knowledge required
• EPA Certification preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and handheld computers (Smartphone, iPad)
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and 75 pounds frequently
• Ability to work in diverse conditions including extreme weather and elevated heights
