Responsibilities

• Maintain, install, and repair air conditioning, ventilation and heating systems in multi-family residential properties
• Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues and recommend necessary repairs or replacements
• Perform repairs and replacements of HVAC components such as compressors, motors, thermostats, and coils
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing resident inquiries and concerns
• Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and installations
• Collaborate with property managers and maintenance staff to coordinate service schedules
• Stay current on industry trends, technologies, and best practices
• Categorize and organize inventory to limit unnecessary losses

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as an HVAC service technician, focusing on multi-family residential properties
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, troubleshooting, repair, and installation techniques
• Familiarity with relevant HVAC tools and equipment
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical training or certification in HVAC repair and installation
• EPA certification for handling refrigerants
