About the role
Responsibilities
- Estimate heat loads and prepare comprehensive HVAC design drawings
- Prepare detailed mechanical shop drawings, including section drawings, to facilitate easy site installation
- Coordinate mechanical services with other disciplines to ensure clash-free installations
- Manage Order Requests (OR) and review Purchase Orders (PO) for major HVAC equipment such as AHUs, MAUs, FCUs, and CRAC units
- Review and select equipment including pumps, valves, and precision cooling units by evaluating vendor quotes
- Prepare Material Technical Submittals (MTS)
- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and project budgets
Requirements
- Proficiency in heat load estimation and HVAC design drawings
- Experience in preparing mechanical shop drawings
- Ability to prepare BOQs and material technical submittals
- Knowledge of HVAC equipment selection and vendor quote review
