HVAC Draftsman

Responsibilities

• Estimate heat loads and prepare comprehensive HVAC design drawings
• Prepare detailed mechanical shop drawings, including section drawings, to facilitate easy site installation
• Coordinate all mechanical services to ensure clash-free installations
• Manage Order Requests (OR) and review Purchase Orders (PO) for major HVAC equipment such as AHUs, MAUs, FCUs, and CRAC units
• Review and select equipment including pumps, valves, and precision cooling units by evaluating vendor quotes
• Prepare Material Technical Submittals (MTS)
• Develop Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and project budgets

Requirements

• 1-3 years of professional experience in HVAC drafting or mechanical design
• Proficiency in heat load estimation and HVAC design drawings
• Expertise in preparing mechanical shop drawings
• Experience with BOQ preparation and equipment selection
• Ability to prepare material technical submittals
