About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform HVAC design and 3D modeling tasks
- Plan and self-perform tasks across multiple projects
- Coordinate verification and validation of documents with technical and operations personnel
- Prepare, interpret, and maintain technical drawings and operating documents
- Develop and maintain historical project information
- Present information clearly through oral and written communication
Requirements
- Associate Degree in HVAC or Fire Protection
- 5+ years of progressive experience in HVAC Design and 3D Modeling
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
- Technical knowledge of engineering systems, construction methods, and materials
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Revit and Smart Plant
- Experience working with point clouds and 3D modeling software for multi-discipline projects
- Familiarity with Trane Trace or similar programs
- Previous DOE work experience
