HVAC Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop HVAC solutions for Wheel Loaders and Articulated Haulers
• Create hardware-related designs including layouts, air ducts, and routing
• Select appropriate components and perform heating and cooling calibrations in the cab
• Manage the HVAC area with close interfaces toward the Thermal Management department
• Ensure all designs balance technical performance, manufacturability, quality, and cost
• Collaborate with global cab teams and other cross-functional engineering departments

Requirements

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Proven experience in mechanical or HVAC system design
• Proficiency in CAD and PLM systems
• Experience in automotive, off-highway, or other mobile applications
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in an international, multicultural environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience specifically in hardware design related to climate systems or thermal management
• Ability to balance detailed engineering tasks with a broad system perspective
