HVAC Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform heat load calculations for industrial buildings using E-20 Excel sheets
• Design duct routing, sizing, and ESP calculations using Duct Sizer software
• Prepare detailed AutoCAD HVAC drawings, including supply, return, and exhaust layouts
• Develop Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for ducts, fittings, grills, and equipment
• Select suitable HVAC equipment based on load requirements and system design
• Manage cleanroom HVAC projects for pharmaceutical environments (ISO Class 8 & 9)
• Ensure all designs comply with GMP and ISO standards
• Perform airflow calculations based on required ACH and room classification
• Design pressure cascades for classified rooms
• Support the installation, balancing, and commissioning of AHUs and duct systems

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in HVAC design
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for HVAC drawing preparation
• Expertise in heat load calculations and duct sizing
• Experience with cleanroom HVAC design and pharmaceutical standards
• Knowledge of GMP and ISO compliance requirements
• Ability to develop accurate BOQs
