About the role
Responsibilities
- Design and develop HVAC systems based on project requirements and specifications
- Conduct load calculations to determine heating and cooling requirements for buildings
- Prepare HVAC system layout and design drawings using CAD software
- Perform equipment selection and size ductwork and piping systems
- Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineers to ensure project success
- Oversee HVAC system installation and commissioning to ensure proper functioning
- Conduct system testing and troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve issues
- Prepare project reports and documentation
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in HVAC system design
- Proficiency in CAD software for creating system layouts
- Strong understanding of load calculations and equipment selection
- Experience with ductwork and piping sizing
- Knowledge of building code compliance and regulations
