HVAC Cooling Customer Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, commissioning, scheduled maintenance, and emergency service on Liebert Air products
• Provide on-site and phone technical assistance to customers to ensure high satisfaction and "first time fix" rates
• Communicate with National Technical Support regarding equipment issues and implement Field Change Notices
• Maintain accurate administrative records, including timecards, expense reports, mileage, and service documentation
• Operate safely in accordance with company guidelines, including the use of appropriate PPE and adherence to work hour policies
• Manage individual inventory and company property, including vehicles and test equipment

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• HVAC Certificate Program degree or equivalent industry experience
• EPA refrigerant license
• Basic electrical knowledge and familiarity with electrical/electronic test equipment
• Ability to read and interpret electrical line diagrams and blueprints
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently and occasionally up to 75 pounds
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends, evenings, holidays, and on-call shifts
