HVAC Controls Systems Team Lead

Responsibilities

• Act as the on-site project leader to plan, execute, and complete HVAC control systems projects.
• Manage hardware design, system programming, installation coordination, and network commissioning.
• Oversee project financials, including costs, billings, collections, and the pursuit of change orders.
• Coordinate communication with customers and provide technical assistance to subcontractors and technicians.
• Ensure all work adheres to safety standards, local legal requirements, and ethical practices.
• Manage the selection, ordering, and delivery schedule of project materials and equipment.
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and technical guidance to System Technicians and Designers.

Requirements

• Technical associate’s degree.
• 1-3 years of related field experience in the HVAC/Controls industry or Building Automation Systems.
• Hands-on experience in the design and commissioning of digital HVAC controls systems.
• Strong knowledge of control theory and HVAC systems.
• Proficient computer skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of project accounting, costing principles, and contracting.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to direct the work of others.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
