HVAC Controls Sales Specialist

Responsibilities

• Pursue large modernization opportunities for plan/spec, design/build, or direct-to-owner projects
• Present at customer seminars to develop new and existing customer relationships
• Promote the Carrier value proposition by linking customer objectives to specific solutions
• Manage complex multi-service solution proposals and create high-quality estimates, bids, and proposals
• Utilize CRM to manage customer interactions, activities, and the opportunity pipeline
• Seek out new modernization opportunities with both existing and prospect customers
• Consistently achieve sales metrics and annual targets through effective commercial acumen

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3+ years of B2B sales experience within the HVAC, building controls, or building automation industry
• Ability to lift/carry up to 20 lbs
• Ability to climb ladders and stairs
• Comfortable working on roofs and platforms

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Experience selling directly to end-user customers or selling service agreements
• Strong technical proficiency with Microsoft-based computer software
• Outstanding negotiation, time management, and organizational skills
• Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities for cross-selling, upselling, and preventative repair packages
