HVAC Controls I

Responsibilities

• Install, service, modify, and repair air-conditioning and refrigeration systems in an industrial manufacturing setting.
• Operate central plant equipment including chillers, boilers, cooling towers, air compressors, and pumps.
• Troubleshoot plumbing, electrical, and HVAC issues and take appropriate corrective actions.
• Respond to emergency calls regarding system or equipment failures.
• Document all preventive and corrective work activities daily using the CMMS.
• Utilize Building Automation Systems (BAS) for proper equipment operation.
• Perform routine maintenance such as lubrication, inspections, adjustments, and cleaning.
• Adhere to all safety requirements and operational policies.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in facility operations.
• Possession of an S1 or S2 license.
• EPA Universal Certification (refrigeration).
• Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and Energy Management Systems.
• Working knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, shop drawings, and schematics.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work with ladders/climbing.
• Availability for overtime, weekend work, and on-call emergency response.
