HVAC Apprentice

Responsibilities

• Install new heat pump systems and remove gas furnaces
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning and replacing filters
• Test HVAC systems to ensure proper functionality
• Follow blueprints, schematics, and building codes during installation and repair
• Collaborate with technicians and engineering teams to improve products and processes
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and questions

Requirements

• Completion of 2 or more years of a recognized HVAC program or equivalent work experience
• Knowledge of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
• Familiarity with blueprints, schematics, and building codes
• Physical stamina to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions
• Strong problem-solving skills and a desire to learn in a team environment
• Experience with modern tools, including AI, to improve efficiency is a plus
