HV Operations Specialist

Responsibilities

• Lead and implement safety culture and values, maximizing offshore health and safety performance
• Act as a Senior Authorised Person (SAP) for voltages between 66kV and 220kV
• Manage the authorization process of Competent Persons under HV safety rules
• Ensure optimum site availability through effective outage planning and management
• Prepare switching schedules for maintenance, installation, fault location, and repair
• Execute HV switching, isolation, earthing, and the issuance of safety documentation
• Perform site risk assessments and review third-party contractor method statements
• Supervise and monitor the performance of equipment OEMs and electrical maintenance contractors
• Prepare periodic maintenance reports to highlight performance trends and corrective actions

Requirements

• Experience as a Senior Authorised Person (SAP) under the safety rules of a DNO, NGET, or power generating company
• Proven experience in HV Electrical Maintenance within the offshore wind industry or a similar high-stakes environment
• Practical experience in asset management of industrial HV and LV systems, including resource planning
• Working knowledge of SCADA systems
• Physical fitness for offshore work, working at heights, and marine transfers
• Ability to work a rotation (2 weeks on/2 weeks off) and respond to emergency situations outside normal hours
