Human Resources Specialist

Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison with the English-speaking corporate office to align operational needs with corporate HR policies
• Advise managers on performance management, coaching, discipline, and terminations in accordance with Quebec labor laws
• Support attendance management and performance evaluation processes
• Administer employee benefits and retirement savings programs
• Manage workplace injury claims and CNESST declarations
• Lead return-to-work and accommodation programs in collaboration with management and healthcare providers
• Maintain and update HR policies to ensure compliance with labor standards, human rights, and health and safety regulations
• Coordinate the translation of corporate policies and documents from English to French

Requirements

• University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• 5 to 7 years of progressive HR experience with a focus on labor relations
• Demonstrated experience conducting workplace investigations and managing performance/discipline
• Strong knowledge of Quebec labor legislation (CNESST), including labor standards and health and safety
• Experience administering benefits and retirement plans
• Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS systems
• Ability to translate and develop training content from English to French
• CRHA designation or eligibility is a significant asset
