About the role
Responsibilities
- Support a variety of HR programs and initiatives, including recruitment and employee programs
- Maintain HR information systems (HRIS) and ensure data accuracy
- Assist with data collection, analysis, and the preparation of reports to evaluate program effectiveness
- Collaborate with departments across the Agency to coordinate training efforts
- Provide responsive support to employees and management regarding policies and regulations
- Handle sensitive and confidential employee information with high levels of professionalism and discretion
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university with a major in Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Administration, Psychology, or a closely related field
- At least two years of progressively responsible experience in human resources management
- Valid California Class C driver's license and the ability to maintain insurability under the Agency’s vehicle insurance program

- Previous experience working within a public agency
