Human Resources Operations and Benefits Specialist

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day administration of employee benefits programs including health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance
• Serve as the main point of contact for employee questions regarding benefits, policies, and procedures
• Partner with vendors and brokers to resolve issues and support the open enrollment process
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to benefits and leave administration
• Coordinate and administer leave programs including parental leave and disability
• Act as system administrator for the HRIS platform to ensure data integrity and user support
• Maintain and audit employee data including new hires, terminations, and job changes
• Coordinate with Marketing and Communications to provide clear employee communications regarding HR processes
• Develop and maintain documentation, guides, and FAQs related to benefits and HRIS usage

Requirements

• 3-5 years of HR experience with a focus on benefits and HRIS management
• Demonstrated knowledge of health plans, leave management, and applicable laws
• Experience working with HRIS platforms
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Acute attention to detail
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity
