Human Resources Manager

Responsibilities

• Support the growth of the Turner & Townsend business in Finland, partnering with teams across the hub office and project construction sites
• Own the employment contract process and manage onboarding for office and site-based employees
• Act as the first point of contact for employee HR-related queries
• Advise management on employee relations, local employment law, performance management, and disciplinary processes
• Prepare payroll, employee records, and benefits including pension and healthcare
• Design and implement HR policies that promote a positive and inclusive work environment
• Partner with leadership to develop talent strategies, retention, and succession planning
• Drive employee engagement initiatives and support organizational change
• Produce HR reports and data analysis to support senior stakeholder decision-making
• Conduct exit interviews and provide actionable insights to improve retention

Requirements

• Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field
• 7+ years of experience in operational HR, ideally in an international or consultancy environment
• Strong knowledge of local Finnish employment legislation
• Excellent written and spoken Finnish and English
• Experience supporting the full employee lifecycle
• Proficiency in MS Office; experience with Workday is an advantage
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
