About the role
Responsibilities
- Serve as the sole HR point of contact for a manufacturing workforce of approximately 125 employees
- Conduct comprehensive reviews and remediation of HR documentation, compliance records, and regulatory filings
- Manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and work authorization/visa requirements
- Administer payroll functions, bonus calculations, and compensation plans across various pay cycles
- Maintain full OSHA compliance, including incident reporting, safety training, and regulatory certifications
- Oversee employee benefits administration and the company retirement savings plan
- Handle employee relations, including conflict resolution and disciplinary processes
- Serve as the Training Process Owner within the company's ISO/FDA quality management system
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of HR experience in a manufacturing or similarly regulated environment
- Strong working knowledge of U.S. employment law and OSHA regulations
- Demonstrated experience managing payroll, bonus structures, and compensation administration
- Proven ability to handle employee relations and sensitive, confidential information
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently in a solo HR function
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification
- Experience with ISO or FDA quality management systems
- Background in medical device, life sciences, or healthcare-adjacent manufacturing
- Experience with workers' compensation claims and OSHA 300 log reporting
Benefits
- Base salary: $80,000 – $90,000 per year
- Performance bonuses paid weekly, monthly, and annually
