Human Resources Manager

Responsibilities

• Provide human resources service, advice, and counsel to plant management and employees to ensure strategic alignment with business goals.
• Establish and maintain supportive business relationships with the plant manager and staff to achieve business results.
• Administer payroll, benefits, record-keeping, employee relations, and career development programs.
• Coordinate recruitment, selection, onboarding, and off-boarding processes for the plant.
• Coach employees, supervisors, and managers in interpersonal communications and conflict resolution.
• Partner with the Safety Department to ensure compliance with health and safety standards and manage workers' compensation claims.
• Oversee performance management programs and compensation planning.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies, Federal laws, and State regulations.
• Collect and analyze data to measure the effectiveness of HR programs and activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and at least 5 years of applicable business experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of human resources experience specifically within a manufacturing environment.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring high-performance teams.
• Ability to operate effectively within a matrixed, multicultural business environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• SPHR or PHR certification.
• Extensive experience in HR generalist roles within consumer food production environments.
• Experience in financial management, including budgeting and project analysis.
