Human Resources Manager

Responsibilities

• Drive the people strategy at the plant level, strengthening leadership capability and ensuring efficient HR service delivery.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to plant leadership, providing guidance on complex HR issues and fostering a culture of accountability and inclusion.
• Manage Union Relations and Works Council engagement, including negotiating collective bargaining agreements and resolving labor disputes.
• Track and analyze People KPIs to provide workforce insights regarding staffing, productivity, and engagement.
• Oversee local talent acquisition, onboarding, and performance management programs.
• Lead leadership development, talent planning, and talent review processes to ensure a critical pipeline of talent.
• Ensure strict adherence to labor laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and drive the adoption of HR service tools.

Requirements

• Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of labor law, employee relations, and Union/Works Council relations.
• Experience working effectively within a matrix organization.
• Demonstrated experience in change management.
• Fluency in both English and French (written and verbal).
• Strong problem-solving skills and a data-driven mindset.
