About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide consultative support and partnership to leaders at the Cedar Rapids facility to drive human capital initiatives.
- Lead activities related to colleague engagement, workforce management, performance management, and talent development.
- Drive objectives in succession planning, diversity and inclusion, communications, and change management.
- Diagnose organizational issues and opportunities proactively to implement timely resolutions.
- Align HR strategy plans with site-specific needs and influence operations leaders through strong cross-functional relationships.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field.
- 6 years of HR experience with increasing levels of responsibility.
- At least 4 years of experience as an HR generalist across multiple disciplines (e.g., workforce planning, talent acquisition, career development).
- Proven leadership experience in a cross-functional team environment with both exempt and non-exempt staff.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
- Ability to work on-site at a manufacturing facility and maintain a flexible schedule to meet facility needs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience managing cross-functional teams in union and non-union capacities.
- Experience working in manufacturing, distribution, or warehouse environments.
- Relevant professional certifications, such as PHR.
- Experience developing, adapting, or facilitating training programs.
