About the role
Responsibilities
- Participate in collective bargaining for a first contract, ensuring a highly collaborative negotiation process
- Interact with union stewards and union representatives to maintain positive and collaborative relationships
- Collaborate with HR Teams, Centers of Excellence, Union representatives, and Legal teams to ensure smooth implementation of HR processes
- Manage HR processes for employees in the bargaining unit, including preparing communications and readiness initiatives
- Advise and update HR policies, programs, and procedures to support new legal and compliance requirements
- Build capability within the Manager and HR community
Requirements
- Proven experience in HR roles with a focus on labor relations and union environments
- Outstanding negotiation skills and a track record of successful contract negotiations, specifically the ability to negotiate a first contract
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple stakeholders and partners
- Proficiency in managing HR operational changes and readiness communications
- Ability to manage and update HR documentation
- Experience in the gaming or entertainment industry
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Wizards of the Coast games and culture
