About the role
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary HR support for multiple warehouses at a New Jersey site, shadowing the HR lead
- Assist in managing full-cycle HR processes including recruitment administration, onboarding, and offboarding
- Review and reconcile employee timecards to ensure accurate attendance tracking and compliance
- Support employee relations and conflict resolution by documenting investigations in partnership with leadership
- Provide initial guidance to managers and employees regarding company policies and basic regulatory compliance
Requirements
- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to learning
- Ability to learn new systems such as HRIS, ERP, and payroll/timekeeping software
- Mandarin Chinese speaking skills are a plus
