Human Resources Information System Database Manager

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between the Office of Human Resources and Information Technology for the Ellucian Banner HR module.
• Manage the maintenance, accuracy, and integrity of data within the Banner HR database.
• Develop, implement, and administer Banner HR programs, processes, and data entry procedures from new hire to termination.
• Lead process improvements related to Self Service Banner and Electronic Personnel Action Forms (EPAFs).
• Write, maintain, and support various reports and queries using appropriate reporting tools to meet departmental needs.
• Provide daily technical support and serve as a key knowledge resource for Banner HR module users.
• Coordinate system modifications, upgrades, and testing in collaboration with IT Services.
• Develop and maintain written documentation, reference guides, and training materials for HR systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience working with Database Management Systems.
• At least three (3) years of experience as a project lead for technology system implementations.
• Strong proficiency in SQL.
• Proficiency in Oracle forms and reports.

Preferred Qualifications

• One (1) year of direct experience working with the Ellucian Banner Human Resources (HR) module.
• Experience with Banner Document Management System (BDMS).
• Strong knowledge of business analysis processes and project management methodologies.
