Responsibilities

• Recruit, interview, and facilitate the hiring of qualified job applicants
• Collaborate with departmental managers to understand required skills and competencies
• Conduct background checks and employee eligibility verifications
• Implement new hire orientation and employee recognition programs
• Administer human resource programs including payroll, benefits, and leave
• Manage disciplinary matters, disputes, investigations, and performance management
• Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
• Stay updated on HR trends, regulatory changes, and new technologies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• At least two years of human resources experience
• Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to learn HRIS and talent management systems quickly
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills

Preferred Qualifications

• PHR-CA certification
• SHRM-CP certification
