About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Company’s Attendance Control Program, including issuing disciplines and providing guidance to Supervisors
  • Manage monthly attendance metrics and run weekly ACP and CAP letters
  • Resolve time and attendance system issues
  • Assist the Disability Coordinator with the management of FMLA and Worker’s Compensation
  • Provide administrative and technical support to the Human Resources team
  • Create and maintain local HR metrics and track new hire probationary reviews
  • Support various HR projects and initiatives as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field; OR an Associate's degree with 1 year of related HR experience; OR 3 years of related HR experience with a High School Diploma
  • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
  • Ability to work effectively in an environment of ambiguity and ongoing change

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1 year of dedicated Human Resources experience
  • Experience in the automotive or heavy-duty truck industry
  • Proficiency with Kronos
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Experience working with unions or labor relations
  • Ability to work on cross-functional international teams to implement software and control requirements
