About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the Company’s Attendance Control Program, including issuing disciplines and providing guidance to Supervisors
- Manage monthly attendance metrics and run weekly ACP and CAP letters
- Resolve time and attendance system issues
- Assist the Disability Coordinator with the management of FMLA and Worker’s Compensation
- Provide administrative and technical support to the Human Resources team
- Create and maintain local HR metrics and track new hire probationary reviews
- Support various HR projects and initiatives as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field; OR an Associate's degree with 1 year of related HR experience; OR 3 years of related HR experience with a High School Diploma
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Proven ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
- Ability to work effectively in an environment of ambiguity and ongoing change
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 year of dedicated Human Resources experience
- Experience in the automotive or heavy-duty truck industry
- Proficiency with Kronos
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Experience working with unions or labor relations
- Ability to work on cross-functional international teams to implement software and control requirements
