Human Resources Generalist

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day Human Resources support to employees and supervisors on the manufacturing floor
• Drive hourly recruitment efforts including job posting, candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding
• Coordinate and support new hire orientation for plant employees
• Partner with the HR Shared Services Center to deliver end-to-end services across the employee lifecycle
• Maintain accurate employee records, timekeeping data, and ensure legal compliance
• Assist with employee enrollment and training on HRIS platforms such as ADP, SAP SuccessFactors, and Workforce
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding policies, benefits, and procedures
• Support employee engagement activities, company events, and safety initiatives
• Manage unemployment claims and medical support orders in accordance with legal guidelines
• Serve as a liaison for staffing agencies to align on staffing needs and processes

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Human Resources or Office Administration
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• Previous HR experience within a manufacturing environment
• Experience with HRIS systems such as Workforce, SAP SuccessFactors, or ADP
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
