Human Resources Generalist

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day HR operations and maintain accurate employee records in Dayforce
• Oversee plant hiring functions, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and selection
• Facilitate the onboarding process and coordinate orientation sessions for new hires
• Serve as a primary contact for employee inquiries, policy guidance, and conflict mediation
• Support managers with performance management, including improvement plans and disciplinary actions
• Assist with benefits administration, including open enrollment and employee support
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws
• Implement employee engagement initiatives such as wellness programs and recognition events
• Oversee summer internship and high school scholarship programs

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 4+ years of experience in an HR generalist role
• Proven expertise in recruitment, employee relations, and compliance
• Hands-on experience with Dayforce or other HRIS systems
• Strong understanding of employment laws and benefits administration
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
