Human Resources Generalist

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day human resources, faculty affairs, and payroll functions for departments within the Clinical Diagnostic Pod.
• Support recruitment efforts by posting positions, scheduling meetings, managing the I-9 process, and processing new hires.
• Manage onboarding for staff, faculty, researchers, and students, including medical surveillance and UNI creation.
• Oversee payroll preparation and processing using TLAM and manage time-off tracking for Academic Officers.
• Handle immigration-related needs, including assisting with sponsorship for various visa types (F-1, J-1, H-1, etc.) and maintaining communication with ISSO.
• Ensure compliance with I-9 processing, annual hospital training, HIPAA, and other regulatory requirements.
• Maintain and update employee records and utilize HR ticketing systems to manage requests.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant human resources experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office with advanced spreadsheet skills.
• Strong analytical and tenacious problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision and exercise sound independent judgment.
• Excellent professionalism, diplomacy, and discretion when dealing with individuals at all levels.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree specifically in Human Resources or a related field.
