Human Resources Generalist

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing
• Coordinate pre-employment requirements such as background checks and drug testing
• Facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding programs
• Serve as the primary point of contact for temporary staffing agencies
• Resolve employee relations issues and conduct investigations
• Administer benefits, COBRA, and various leave programs (FMLA, CFRA, ADA)
• Act as the primary Dayforce administrator and HRIS subject matter expert
• Support payroll processing by reviewing timecards and attendance records
• Coordinate employee engagement initiatives and recognition programs

Requirements

• 2 to 5 years of progressively responsible Human Resources experience
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred
• Strong knowledge of California labor and employment laws
• Proficiency with HRIS systems, specifically Dayforce preferred
• Advanced computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Ability to lift up to 20-40 pounds and work in industrial environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, recycling, or industrial sectors
• PHR or SHRM-CP certification
• Valid California Driver’s License
