About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform all human resource functions from applicant tracking through employee termination
  • Maintain accurate and current employee files
  • Handle benefits administration including invoice payment, enrollments, and updates
  • Process payroll
  • Act as an administrative assistant to the Human Resources Manager
  • Maintain the vehicle gas card system and balance checkbooks
  • Work with safety director on workers’ compensation and safety records

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in human resources, benefits administration, employee relations, payroll, and recruiting
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally
  • High school degree or GED
  • Ability to navigate a manufacturing plant environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field
  • Human Resources certifications (PHR or SPHR)
