About the role

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day HR operations, including recruitment, hiring, and onboarding processes.
  • Develop, interpret, and administer HR policies and procedures to ensure organizational consistency.
  • Manage benefits administration, including open enrollment, employee inquiries, and monthly bill reconciliation.
  • Administer the multiple-employer defined benefit pension plan and coordinate with plan actuaries.
  • Lead employee relations by advising on sensitive matters and serving as an investigator for discrimination or harassment complaints.
  • Design and manage the performance appraisal process, including goal setting and succession planning.
  • Act as the primary system owner for the HRIS (ADP Workforce Now) and ensure payroll data accuracy.
  • Manage leaves of absence, including FMLA, Short-Term Disability, and Worker’s Compensation claims.
  • Conduct compensation benchmarking and salary surveys to ensure market-based recommendations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
  • At least 7 years of professional experience in human resources or personnel administration.
  • Must be a current resident of New Hampshire.
  • Proven ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality and professionalism.
