About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage non-exempt recruiting and onboarding processes
- Administer employee transfers, leaves of absence, and status changes
- Maintain confidentiality of personal employee information and company records
- Collect and enter new hire information into HRIS and timekeeping systems
- Manage employee personnel, medical, and workers' compensation files
- Oversee contract job bidding procedures, including postings and shift preferences
- Assist employees and agencies with employment and wage verification
- Administer employee benefits including health insurance, 401(k), and vacation time
- Communicate plant-wide notices and address employee questions or concerns
Requirements
- Five years of experience in Human Resources
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database applications
- Strong working knowledge of Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS)
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to handle sensitive information with high confidentiality
- Four-year college degree preferred
