About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage non-exempt recruiting and onboarding processes
  • Administer employee transfers, leaves of absence, and status changes
  • Maintain confidentiality of personal employee information and company records in compliance with applicable laws
  • Collect and enter new hire information into HRIS and timekeeping systems
  • Manage employee personnel, medical, and workers' compensation files
  • Oversee contract job bidding procedures, including postings and shift preferences
  • Administer employee benefits including health insurance, 401K, and vacation time
  • Act as a point of contact for employee questions, concerns, and wage verifications
  • Support policy implementation, training, and affirmative action initiatives

Requirements

  • Five years of experience in Human Resources
  • Strong working knowledge of Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and database applications
  • Strong organizational and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

  • Four-year college degree
  • Bilingual skills
