About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage non-exempt recruiting and onboarding processes
- Administer employee transfers, leaves of absence, and status changes
- Maintain confidentiality of personal employee information and company records in compliance with applicable laws
- Collect and enter new hire information into HRIS and timekeeping systems
- Manage employee personnel, medical, and workers' compensation files
- Oversee contract job bidding procedures, including postings and shift preferences
- Administer employee benefits including health insurance, 401K, and vacation time
- Act as a point of contact for employee questions, concerns, and wage verifications
- Support policy implementation, training, and affirmative action initiatives
Requirements
- Five years of experience in Human Resources
- Strong working knowledge of Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and database applications
- Strong organizational and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Four-year college degree
- Bilingual skills
